Crossovers That Shouldn't Exist (and some that should)

Image
Hi again. This is a post where I shall complain about crossovers that aren't worth it. I will mention some neat crossovers that are good.   First up: Star Wars and Attack On Titan This would have to be a very confusing crossover, as Attack On Titan is nothing at all like Star Wars. The picture of the crossover I included is probably like a jedi version of Levi or something. This left me kinda like, ok.... But I do have to say the artist who did this is one heck of an artist.   Second: Black Butler and Star Wars Another manga/anime crossed with Star Wars. This one isn't very popular, but enough to make me cringe. Here's the picture: This cosplayer did a good job with their costume, but Ciel Phantomhive as a sith lord doesn't make sense. Black Butler is one of those mangas that leaves you shaking, and Star Wars is just Star Wars. Kudos to the cosplayer, though. They even got Ciel's eyes right.   Third: Pokemon and Sailor Moon Nothing needs to be said a

Manga Of The Month: Bakuman

Image
Hi again! Sorry it's taken me a while to get to this monthly post, but I've been very busy. It took some last minute thinking, but Bakuman was definitely the manga to post about. Bakuman is a manga about manga and the process of creating it. It also has romance, plot twists, and those little things that make it an enjoyable read. I do have to say that some of the parts of the story are very unlikely. Like when Mashiro and Azuki end up sitting next to each other in class after Mashiro randomly proposes to Azuki. It was an awkward scene, seeing the two so embarrassed. Anyway, I think my favorite character would have to be Akito Takagi. He's awesome. :3   This is definitely a manga I would recommend to anyone looking for something interesting to read! Kudos to the writer, Tsugumi Ohba, and the artist, Takeshi Obata! They are also the creators of Death Note.   Is there a manga would like me to read and review? Please leave a comment if so!

Manga Of The Month: Kitchen Princess

Image
Kon'nichiwa! This post is the first of a series I will do every month, where I write about a manga I read and what I think about it. This month's manga is: Kitchen Princess!   The story was written by Miyuki Kobayashi, and the manga was drawn by Natsumi Ando.   There are four omnibuses in the series. The art is well done, and the story line is enjoyable. In the omnibuses, you get several recipes. All the recipes I have tried making from this series are really good. (Especially the black sesame pudding, although I recommend using plain white sesame seeds and adding vanilla to the mix.) All the characters, I think, are well thought out. My favorite characters are probably Akane and Daichi. The ending was probably the best part of the series. It was very satisfactory!    This is a series I highly recommend to anyone looking for a manga about normal life with a twist of mystery. I hope you try it out!   Sayonara till next time!

Welcome!
